Throughout fashion month, we rounded up our favorite Fall 2020 bags from the shows at the end of each week. By the end of the four-city trek, we had highlighted 116 (!). If that tally tells us anything, it’s that we’re going to really want a new handbag come autumn.
While brands like Bibhu Mohapatra, Longchamp, 16Arlington and Gucci continued the tiny-bag theme we’ve been seeing for a few seasons, Jil Sander and Zimmerman made it clear they were going the opposite direction, with purses that said the bigger (and the more extra), the better. Daniel Lee’s latest accessories for Bottega Veneta are already a hit among the Instagram set. (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will probably be carrying them soon.) And a handful of designers, including Collina Strada, brought the high-fashion water bottle onto the runway.
