How Women Propose to Men.
The changing times has seen to the change of traditions and trends. People are embracing new ways of doing things. New trends are slowly replacing the old traditions. The new standards and trends being set in the society is what many people are opting for. People are creating their own trends that they don’t expect to be questioned. The norms of the society are being defied by many people. Such things such as marriages and relationships have set standards on how they should be handled.
Marriage proposals were things that were mandated to be done by men. Heads of families and homes are societally meant to be men. Women were never expected to be at the forefront of family decisions. The notion has been carried to latter days. Masculine roles are being adopted by women in the current society. The most popular trend that is cropping up is the trend of women proposing to marriages to men. This trend is slowly becoming an accepted norm in the society. This is due to the empowerment of women and the rise of movements such as feminism. It is thus not a new phenomenon to see or hear of a woman proposing to a man.
It is important to note however that the new trends come with new rules and methodology. When a woman is proposing to a man, she uses new strategies to do so and not the same that men use to propose to women. These methods and strategies are considered to be modern and fit for the process. It is the mother of the men who are asked for consent when a woman is seeking to propose to a man. Getting a perfect ring for the proposal is very vital. The engagement symbol does not have to be a ring as conventional men are used to doing. Women opt for things such as wrist watches, or a pair of shirt cufflinks to use for proposal. Desperation should not be the sole reason as to why a woman proposes to a man, instead, it should be the desire to spend the rest of her life with the man that should be the driving force. Genuine intentions for proposing makes it easier to complete the process of proposing. Women are not obliged to go down on one knee when proposing to a man as is conventionally done by men. A woman using the conventional method may appear too obvious and monotonous. The uniqueness of proposing to a man is found in the way one uses new styles and strategies.
